Locums - Diagnostic Radiology Physician opportunity in northern Illinois

Locums - A well respected health system is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist to provide coverage in northern Illinois.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Diagnostic Radiologist
• November coverage is fully remote; onsite coverage at two facilities begins December 2026
• November files will be mailed out as rush files
• Approximately 20 shifts per month
• Weekday shifts 7a-5p; weekend shifts 7a-7p
• No call
• Approx 60-70 reads per shift
• Responsibilities include interpretation of CT, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, and fluoroscopy; light procedures including paracentesis and thoracentesis; inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department reads
• Will be cross-credentialed and cover two facilities
• EMR: Epic
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Active IL license (IMLC not accepted), DEA, CSR, ACLS, recent case logs required
• $500/hr; mileage, lodging, malpractice provided
