Locums - Part-time Pathologist opportunity in northern Illinois

Locums - A well respected medical center is seeking a Pathologist to assist with sporadic coverage in northern Illinois.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Pathologist
• Start ASAP for ongoing sporadic coverage needs
• Coverage needs include week of August 24, week of August 31, Nov. 24-28, Dec. 29-Jan. 2
• Mon-Fri 8a-5p
• Some dates include on-call for night shifts and 24-hour coverage
• Duties include pathology sign-out, grossing, cytology review, blood smear interpretation, blood bank issues, adequacy checks for FNAs and CT-guided biopsies
• Must be comfortable working independently and managing pathology caseload
• Histotech support available
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• EMR EPIC
• Active IL license & recent case logs required
• Starting rate 200/hr dependent upon experience, mileage, lodging, malpractice provided
